Sharon McNight received a Tony Award nomination for 1989's 'Starmites,' and is best known for her one-womam tribute to Sophie Tucker, 'Red Hot Mama.' She has six solo recordings, including 'Songs To Offend Almost Everyone.' McNight has been in the forefront in the fight against AIDS since the early eighties, and was featured in Randy Shilt's book, 'And The Band Played On.'
