Sharing our Bounty November 21, 2008

Celebrate the Thanksgiving season by helping others. Sharing our Bounty, an annual dinner and auction to benefit Lazarus House, will take place on Nov. 21, at the Wyndham Andover beginning at 6 p.m.

WCVB’s Amalia Barreda will serve as the Master of Ceremonies and the evening will feature both a live and a silent auction. Items up for bid include: airline tickets to anywhere in the continental United States, one-day Walt Disney World Park Hopper passes, a 62-inch flat screen TV, an iPod Nano, lift passes to Wachusett Mountain, Bruins, Celtics and Red Sox tickets and restaurant gift certificates.
The funds raised by this event will support those in need in the Lawrence, Mass. area. The hard-working poor and low income members of the community have been especially affected by recent economic difficulties and the number of people seeking shelter and food is taxing Lazarus House’s resources. These funds will help Lazarus House provide opportunities for more women, men and children to be able to make a better life for themselves.
