Sharing Dreams and Glory: Photographs of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games August 4, 2009

A year ago this month, the world gathered in China in the spirit of friendship, solidarity, peace and progress for the 29th Olympic Games. The 11,028 athletes competing in the summer games set 38 world records and 85 Olympic records, pushing themselves to their limits and overcoming many obstacles. This photography exhibit captures the passion and triumphs of the historic event. Sponsored by Hanban, Confucius Institute at Troy, Hebei Normal University of Science and Technology, and Troy University College of Communications and Fine Arts. On display in the Loeb Reception Center, Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free admission.
