Nine years since their last sold-out appearances in Toronto, China’s SHAOLIN WARRIORS will make their triumphant return to Toronto.
In 525AD, a Buddhist monk named Bodhi-dharma founded the Shaolin Monastery in what would later become the Henan Province of China. The Shaolin’s become world-renowned for their unique combination of disciplined spiritualism and deadly martial-arts prowess.
The Kung-Fu Masters of the SHAOLIN WARRIORS will perform a theatrical choreography which portrays a typical day in their lives, from dawn to dusk, including the serenity of morning meditation and chants, daily exercises, and the dazzling synchronized fighting rituals that employ an array of traditional Shaolin weaponry.
According to the Toronto Star, the remarkable skill, stunning movement, and spectacular imagery of Kung Fu “makes for a dazzling spectacle, as was evident when the Shaolin Warriors packed the Sony Centre for two shows!”
