Shantytown is roots rock at its best, infused with plenty of blues and some Celtic, funk, and soul sound. Best known for his highly acclaimed work in the bluegrass world, Chris Jones has always had a musical field of vision too wide to be contained within it. He combines classic country influences with honky-tonk, bluegrass, blues and folk. Ride the Blinds is a blues and rock 'n' roll band out of San Francisco and features Chris Guthridge, Bill Cramer and Nick Cramer.
