Shanghai Yangpu US Innovation Center Opening Ceremony: A Panel Discussion on "Innovating and Starting-up in Yangpu" September 27, 2012

Join us in celebration of the official launching of Shanghai Yangpu US Innovation Center!

With the mission to enhance the collaboration between Silicon Valley and Shanghai Yangpu, the Yangpu US Innovation Center is launched to provide a platform to help entrepreneurs who want to start their ventures in China. In this grand opening ceremony, a delegation from Yangpu government led by Deputy District Mayor will be sharing regional information about Yangpu as well as insights about policy incentives available to start up a company and relevant operations there.
A panel discussion on "Innovating and Starting up in Yangpu" will feature VCs in China, successful entrepreneurs, innovation thoughts leaders, law and tax experts, who will share their first-hand experience in Yangpu. The event will be joined with our strategic partners including InnoSpring, HYSTA, Gunderson, Deloitte, local government officials, organization leaders and industry executives.

• Jianyu Chen - Deputy District Mayor, Yangpu District Government. Chen is the former Shanghai Development and reform commission deputy chief economist, fixed assets investment division head. He owns a title of Senior Economist. He holds an MPA degree and BA. Economics from China major Institute.
