Shandon Sahm puts the heart and honesty back into rock 'n' roll. As the youngest son of Sir Doug Sahm, leader of country-rock pioneers The Sir Douglas Quintet and later of the groundbreaking Texas Tornadoes, Shandon is a longtime veteran of the music industry. Besides playing with his legendary father, Shandon established his own indelible musical mark recording, touring and performing as a drummer with artists such as Curt Kirkwood and the Meat Puppets, Gibby Haynes and His Problem, as well as being a founding member of the highly influential Austin-based hard-rock outfit Pariah (Geffen Records) in the early 90s.
