Celebrate Shakespeare in the Parking Lot's 10th Anniversary with a special performance of Twelfth Night! Twelfth Night is noted as one of Shakespeare's most studied and best loved plays: the twin-based comedy of cross-dressing and mistaken identity is accessible to both novice audience members and scholars. The actual Elizabethan festival of Twelfth Night would involve the antics of a Lord of Misrule and the general inversion of the order of society. Audience members will be invited to participate in the antics!
Shakespeare in the Parking Lot is Tacoma's own roving troupe of Shakespearean performers and directors. This show showcases the next generation whose energy and passion for the bard will carry SITPL, and it's mission to take the fear out of Shakespeare, into the next decade of performances. Performances are free (donations gladly accepted).
