Congregation Ner Tamid, a young and growing dynamic West Cobb Reform Jewish congregation, along with The Marcus JCC of Atlanta is sponsoring a special Shabbat program for children age two to seven and their parents and grandparents.
To be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 12:30-2pm at the West Cobb Library, 1750 Dennis Kemp Lane NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152, the program will feature a Shabbat Story from The PJ Library, snacks and craft time. No fee, but please RSVP to Lindsay Chapkin at Lindsay.Chapkin@atlantajcc.org or call 678-812-4175 for more information!
The PJ Library Program is a national program which provides free books and music in the mail to children six months to eight years old. Reading stories and listening to music with your child are among the most powerful and nurturing learning experiences. The PJ Library promotes literacy and inquisitive minds, which triggers critical and imaginative thinking. Help your children transform ordinary moments into Jewish memories that will foster their identity. If you live in the Greater Atlanta area and have children between the ages of 6 months and 8 years old, please register them for The PJ Library at www.jewishatlanta.org/PJLibrary
The PJ Library is generously funded by the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta in partnership with the Marcus Jewish Community Center.
Congregation Ner Tamid was formed in May of 2006 to service the needs of Marietta, Dallas, Kennesaw and surrounding areas. We are an unaffiliated Reform synagogue focused on forming relationships; those between members of our community and your relationship with your synagogue.
