A FREE annual two-day conference for independent and underground publishing, the SF Zine Fest is one of the biggest and best DIY small-press events in the country, with over 100 exhibitors and 2600+ attendees interacting over the Labor Day weekend of Sept. 4 + 5. Exhibitors come from all over the West Coast, and while the focus is on zines, all walks of DIY life are represented — comics, arts and crafts, literary presses, and more. In addition to over 100 creators and publishers, the SFZF has fantastic special guests including Jesse Reklaw (Slow Wave) and V. Vale (RE/Search), informative panels and readings, hands-on workshops, a Reading Room, a vintage zine art exhibition, and much much more!
