SF Zen Center presents “Embodied Subjects” with painter Hanneline Røgeberg & digital artist Camille Utterback July 8, 2010

“Embodied Subjects” features painter Hanneline Røgeberg and digital artist Camille Utterback, who will be presenting their work, as well as engaging with the audience around notions of perception, relationship, and the body for this fifth installment of The Expert's Mind. The artists will articulate how we perceive our own bodies—in motion, in relationship to others, and within the environments we inhabit. They invite the viewer into a heightened reality that feels viscerally familiar without ever having been experienced in a literal sense, and in doing so activate our awareness of the subtle charge always sparking in the most ordinary acts.
