Paint the town red this week, as NightLife celebrates street art, graffiti, music, and innovative programs to make San Francisco’s streets more livable. 1:AM Gallery will offer interactive workshops on the history of graffiti, covering the big names, different letter styles, and even a chance to practice the craft on a large graffiti wall. Watch artists from Precita Eyes Mural Arts create a masterpiece before your very eyes; s...ee a giant sea creature come to life as muralists Brian Herrick and Grady Gordon work on a six-foot-tall canvases; and view incredible pieces from Oakland’s graffiti battle, hosted by The Estria Foundation. Plus, meet folks from urban organizations like Hayes Valley Farm, Sunday Streets, and WalkSF that are working to make San Francisco a more livable, thriving city. ‘Tis the Season for Science, featuring live reindeer, snow flurries and much more will also be open during NightLife. Live music by The Ferocious Few, presented by Noise Pop. Additional music by DJ Frisko Eddy.
