San Francisco Songsalive! Showcase



If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area and looking for great original live music, the Songsalive! San Francisco Showcase is where to be! The showcase is held every first Thursday of the month at a Velo Rouge Cafe and hosted by San Francisco Bay Area artist Katie Garibaldi.

The next showcase takes place on July 7th at 7:00 PM. Showcase your music and support our Songsalive! national and international live events and showcases ...presenting songwriters and artists of original music. Songsalive! also connects you to shows presented by other organizations. Showcases are conducted globally. Join Songsalive! for a full evening of entertainment from our premier songwriters.

Jon Moldover:

Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Jon Moldover was found and raised by a pack of wild raccoons. Eventually they grew tired of his jokes and asked him to leave. Cap-in-hand, he relocated to San Francisco and decided to make new friends by playing music and he's been doing so ever since. His songs sound like 80s rock ballads mixed with a healthy dose of tongue-in-cheek humor. He walks the line of sincerity and hilarity with grace and style.


Rebecca Parks:

Rebecca Parks writes award-winning songs that set scenes, tell stories, and dramatize conversations. She has introspective vulnerability and a folk-rock sensibility with a theatrical touch. Her lyrics are sharp, her melodies memorable. Rebecca's latest CD, Messiah Refugee, features styles ranging from ethereal ballads to blues to anthemic rock, with a theme of spiritual meaning and questioning. The arrangements are spare, centered around Rebecca's voice and a grand piano.
