Crisis Hopkins is a Bay Area comedy troupe that infuses games, scenes, and comedy of the fast and slow variety in an evening of improvised hilarity. Valuing joy above elegance and play above dignity, Crisis Hopkins commits to the moment and finds inspiration in the topics of the day and the experiences of its players. Crisis Hopkins has performed their touring show “Listen to Reason!” at improv festivals in Los Angeles, Providence, and Ventura. Their current show “The Off-Night Spectacular” runs monthly at the Climate Theater in San Francisco.
Sidecar is a crackerjack New York based sketch and improv team. Their first sketch show Condiment City ran for seven months at UCB NY before heading out for a run of shows at UCBLA and ImprovBoston. Sidecar followed that up with their second, This One’s for the Losers, which recently finished up an eight month run at UCB NY. Sidecar has taught and performed long form improv in Alaska, Seattle, Philadelphia and Boston. They also have an extensive video library online at their website and at funnyordie.com/sidecar.
Oren Brimer is a thriving presence in the New York alternative comedy scene. Oren writes, directs, produces and edits his own original content, which has garnered a strong following online. His videos have been featured on G4 Tech TV and have won competitions on Comedy Central's Atom.com, Youtube and Myspace. Oren performs stand up and sketch comedy at various venues in New York and was invited to perform at the 2008 New York Comedy Festival and New York Sketchfest. Oren is currently a writer for the Onion News Network and has written and directed a series for Adult Swim's Superdeluxe.com.
