Celebrating its inaugural year, SF Shorts is proud to present over 50 short films, with comedies, dramas, experimental films and documentaries.
SF Shorts is not afraid to push boundaries, to expand genres or to challenge audiences—visually, narratively, socially and intellectually. The festival received over 900 entries from around the globe and is screening the best 56. Expanding the conventional definition of filmmaking, SF Shorts intends to screen a range of films so wide viewers will have trouble getting their arms, and heads, around it.
Programs will be shown at Roxie Cinema, the Victoria Theatre, and the California College of the Arts.
