San Francisco’s beloved songster (and recent YouTube sensation) GOH NAKAMURA kicks off the evening, full band in tow, with his whimsical and witty pop tunes. THE OLD FASHIONED WAY follows with their multi-instrumental orchestral indie pop--tuneful, intricate and with a snap to get your feet moving. These Hong Kong-born identical twins make danceable New Wave inspired Electro-pop, and are infamous for their rare and extravagant multimedia live shows that include abundant costumes, theatrics, video, and supporting performers. A swarm of multi-talented musicians and a dazzling array of weird instruments erupt from the stage when the seven members of The Old-Fashioned Way strike their first note. GOH NAKAMURA
Goh Nakamura is a SF Bay Area based musician who likes to write ditties about parking tickets, impossible crushes and faraway dreamlands (amongst other things). Accompanying himself with digital samplers and an acoustic guitar, his live shows are always unique and often unpredictable.
