You can't imagine how excited we are to be screening the new David Lynch film, INLAND EMPIRE, as our Opening Night Film! The screening will be 7p on Thursday, Feb 8 at the Castro Theater.
Tickets for INLAND EMPIRE, and the whole Festival program will be available on January 16 at http://sfindie.com.
The festival runs Feb. 8-20 this year at the Castro, Roxie, Victoria and California (in Berkeley) Theaters.
The after party to follow will be equally dazzling. It takes place at the most amazing underground nightclub you've ever seen, kink.com's Porn Palace, and will feature complimentary drinks provided by Redhook Beer, Level Vodka, Plymouth Gin, Tommy's Margaritas, Sauza Tequila and Makers Mark.
The kind folks from Pancake Playhouse will be wiping the playa dust off their grills and grilling up pancakes for your enjoyment,
Mercedes Hair of the Dog Cantina will have quesadillas and
La Mediterranee will have great Greek nibblies on hand.
DJing the party are none other then
Club Bootie's Adrian and Mysterious D,
plus a special set by DJ McSleazy, Glasgow's mash up pioneer!
Plus there will be a great short film program in the screening room and even more surprises. You better take off work on Friday, cause this party's going late!

FYI from Jeff Ross this morning at 8:39am: "So we've gone over the numbers and it turns out we are at capacity for the Castro and the Party venue tonight, so we will not, in fact, be able to sell any tickets at the door for Inland Empire. I didn't want you to get your hopes up only to be disappointed at the Castro."
Yeah, I was just about to post that.
Though he did also write that you can get in if you buy a festival pass.
There still should be tickets for all the other films
(and inland Empire is opening on Friday)
srhodes
Even though it is sold out online, there still will be rush tickets if you arrive early (for this and all indiefest films)
