Who: Presented by The Business, Science & Technology Department of the Detroit Public Library and The National Weather Service.
Why: This vital workshop will show participants how to spot and report severe weather and tornadoes. Participants will learn how to keep themselves, their loved ones and their property safe in severe weather. Important information on the meteorology of severe weather, lightning and flood safety, severe weather forecast and warning products will also be provided.
Handouts and refreshments are available for both sessions.
