Bhagwan Shree Krishn told the Gita to His friend and disciple, Arjun, for the spiritual upliftment of the souls. In her discourse, Janeshwari Devi will shed light on the seven personal promises made by Shree Krishn, not only to Arjun but to all the seekers of God’s love.

Janeshwari Devi is a disciple of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, the 5th original Jagadguru in the last 5,000 yrs. She resides at Barsana Dham ashram, a spiritual retreat center on 200 acres of beautiful grounds in the Hill Country near Austin, TX, founded by H.D. Swami Prakashanand Saraswati. She was first introduced to the spiritual knowledge of India in 1983. She regularly travels to India where she studied the Sanskrit scriptures and devotional music. In 1991, Janeshwari Devi received sannyas, one of the few western women to take sannyas in the raganuga bhakti tradition of Vrindaban, India. Since then, she has traveled throughout the U.S. speaking on the ancient Hindu tradition and leading kirtan programs.
