Seussical, Jr. May 14, 2009

You will love it on the stage, come and see, it’s all the rage! St. Michael School’s eighth grade class will present the production Seussical Jr. on Thursday and Friday, May 14th and 15th. Performances will take place at 12:30 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. in the Cashin Gym, 314 W. Willow St. Wheaton, IL. The show is directed by Mrs. Julie Petrando and Ms. Kathy Wessel.

Seussical Jr. is a family-friendly musical based on the works of Dr. Seuss. Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie, and all of the Whos of Whoville! The score emerges as a Seussian Gumbo of musical styles, ranging from Latin to pop, swing to gospel, and R&B to funk! So let your toes tap, your fingers snap, and you’re imagination run wild for “Oh, the thinks you can think, when you think about Seuss!”
