Sesquicentennial Governor's Ball December 17, 2005

The Grand Finalé of Northfield's Sesquicentennial year ? the Governor's Ball ? Saturday, Dec. 17 ? at Carleton College's Great Hall.

This magical affair will honor four of our own who have risen to the office of governor: Al Quie - MN Governor (1979-1983), Karl F. Rolvaag - MN Governor (1963-1967), Edward Thye - MN Governor (1943-1947), and Adelbert Ames - Mississippi Governor (1868-1870).

There is a lot of magic in the works for this final event of the year - save the date! Tickets to this historic, black-tie-optional affair are $50 per person (sold out) with complimentary appetizers, cash bar and dancing to the big band sound of the Minnesota Jazz Orchestra.
