Serena Jost "Closer Than Far" CD Release Show March 3, 2008

Swiss-American singer/songwriter and cellist Serena Jost celebrates the much-anticipated release of Closer Than Far. Produced by Brad Albetta (Martha Wainwright, Teddy Thompson) and mixed at Monkeyboy Studios in NYC, this stunning debut captures Serena’s lustrous singing and “cerebral, counterintuitive, incredibly catchy songs” which “seamlessly merge classical and pop melodies”. Some of NYC’s tastiest musicians (Julian Maile, Colin Brooks, Brad Albetta, Bill Dobrow, Matt Johnson, Greta Gertler) help bring these remarkable songs to life, while Serena plays cello, guitar and piano.
