In the gallery there will be a new exhibit featuring oil and watercolor paintings by Bala Cynwyd. The Steel Horizons Pan Group will be performing on their Caribbean steel drums on the Maurice Riverfront starting at 6:00 pm. Bill Jenkins will be giving a lecture at 7:00 about the history and recovery of the Hunley, which vanished in 1864 with her eight crew members, and was found over 130 years later on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean near Charleston, South Carolina. Museum Curator, Rachel Dolhanczyk, will present a program on preserving and storing antique documents and photographs at 7:45 pm. The Marketplace will feature sea glass jewelry by Sherry's Jewels; candles and bird feeders by Barefoot Angel; stained glass and mosaic art demonstrations by A Glass Act by Kathy; and homemade jams and pickles by Teri's Berries. Learn how to make tin can lanterns, burlap flowers, and fashion accessories from old t-shirts in the craft room.
