Artist Debi Friedlander uses light fast colored pencils to add layers of rich texture and color value to her own photographic prints. By combining digital and manual techniques, she builds visual bridges between the world as technology captures it and the universe as we wish it to be.
Debi Friedlander’s “Sensations” collection explores the ways we experience life and the world we live in, creating a dialogue between visual perception and other sensing methods. With a variety of subject material and presentation techniques, “Sensations” will appeal to sensors and perceivers of all ages.
