Laugh for a good cause as Seminole Casino Coconut Creek presents stand-up comedian, actor and country music artist Rodney Carrington. Carrington will bring his hilarious and unique act to The Pavilion on Friday, August 10 at 8 p.m., and will also host a special golf tournament on Saturday morning before his big show repeats on August 11 at 8 p.m. Proceeds from these events will benefit The Rodney Carrington Foundation, a non-profit organization created by Carrington and his wife, Terri, to help those in need.

The multitalented entertainer is known for combining his stand-up comedy with his original songs and music, creating an amusing show that is truly unparalleled. Carrington regularly preforms to sold out crowds across the U.S. and Canada, and he has been one of the top 10 highest grossing touring comedians for the last 10 years according to Pollstar. To date, he has recorded eight major record label comedy albums, selling over three million copies.

He made his acting debut in 2004 with Rodney, a sitcom based largely on his own life which aired on ABC for two seasons. He also co-wrote and co-starred alongside country superstar Toby Keith in the feature film Beer for My Horses, as well as co-starred in the hit music video “I Got My Game On” by Trace Adkins, for which he won a CMT Music Video Award for “Supporting Character of the Year” in 2008.
