FANTASTIC NEWS! Janananda Goswami ("Janananda" means one who gives happiness to the people), who is the monk of the highest order (sanyasi) is for the first time in Preston. He is fantastic, humorous and very approachable speaker. He was born in Swindon, England. In 1972 he became a monk. He has completely dedicated his life to travelling around the world and helping others to become happy for almost 40 years. Janananda Goswami is famous for his good sense of humour, selflessness and unlimited enthusiasm.

You will feel that you met your real, true friend.

The topic will be "What is renunciation in the modern world?". We can only give up something if we get something much better. Otherwise it is impossible. If somebody offers us a feast - it is easy to renounce an apple...
