The Boomer Generation is rapidly coming of age. In the U.S., the population over 65 is expected to double to 71.5 million in the next 15 years. Baby Boomers are asking questions about their ability to retire, how to find a place to age gracefully, and what financial planning is necessary to make it happen.
On Weds, October 20th at 10 a.m., Dodge Senior Center (667 Sullivant Ave, Columbus) is hosting a panel of four experts presenting Sell It, Take It, or Forsake It, a workshop designed to help you find answers to your retirement questions.
Pro Organizer Martha Clouse will get you started downsizing "stuff" either to age in place or move to compact quarters. Realtor Donna Burnham gives pointers on what you can do to sell the family home more quickly. Financial Advisor Daniel Goronzy specializes in creative ways to stretch your home proceeds, and A Place For Mom counselor Linda Coleman presents the latest on Elder Care options.
A question and answer period will immediately follow the presentation. This workshop is free to the public. As seating is limited, please sign up by calling 614-645-3176.
