Seeing the Elephant August 26, 2010

Throughout the journey to the Pacific coast, pioneers encountered people, places, and things that were new and curiously unfamiliar. They also experienced events they never thought they would experience. During this 30-minute guided tour we will attempt to understand what pioneers meant when they wrote in their diaries, "I have seen the elephant."
