The Annual Seeing Special Things Student Art Exhibition
Austin Museum of Art
January 17-February 1, 2009
Seeing Special Things is a 29-year old museum/school partnership between the Austin Museum of Art and the Austin Independent School District (AISD). Seeing Special Things students receive pre-visit classroom instruction, visit AMOA four times a year, and create art in response to the exhibitions on view.
This year, Seeing Special Things students created art based on the question: Where do creative ideas come from?
You are invited to attend the opening reception honoring the students and their teachers in the AMOA Community Room.
