'Seduction,' the latest exhibition in the Fashion and Textile History Gallery, will be the first chronological exploration of the role of sexuality in fashion. The exhibition will feature over seventy looks from the mid-eighteenth century to the present, using objects from the Museum's permanent collection. The exhibition will include a wide range of seductive fashion, from the most subtle flirtations of the Victorian era to the explicitly sexy work of designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier and Azzedine Alaia. Contemporary looks from Costume National, Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein, and Peter Som will also be featured.
