June kicks off the Second Sunday Fitness talks at Better Fit Fitness. Each month a health related topic will be discussed and questions fielded by one of the nationally certified trainers from Better Fit Fitness.
June's session will cover fads in nutrition and exercise. A short talk on how he body uses calories, responds to carbohydrates, proteins and fats, and the changes in the body brought about by exercise will start the session.
The purpose of this seris is to enlighten the public on daily health, fitness and exercise related issues that are often clouded by advertisement and poor explanation of the science of the human body.
Questions are a vital part of these talks.
Attendence is free as Better Fit Fitness's commitment to community health and understanding, but RSVP is required. Minimum attenednce of 5 people.
