Explore and celebrate African culture through music and dance as the Friends of the Library take you on a journey through Africa on Saturday, August 11 at 10 a.m. in Library Central at the Orlando Public Library, 101 E. Central Boulevard. Dancers from the Orlando School of Cultural Dance will perform for this one-hour show.
This amazing journey will immerse audiences in the cultural traditions and daily life of tribal communities as they witness African drumming and dance -- complete with traditional instruments, authentic costumes and infectious music. This event is free and everyone is invited.
