The Second City is proud to announce “Second City’s Dysfunctional Holiday Revue” a raucous blend of sketches, songs and improvisation with a healthy dose of seasonal satire. The show is a fast-paced, interactive comedy revue filled with style and wit. Holiday film classics, family gatherings, improvised Christmas carols, even Joseph and Mary – nothing is too sacred for the Second City ensemble. Funny, bright and completely original, “Second City’s Dysfunctional Holiday Revue” is the perfect alternative to the same old holiday shows.

Be warned, this show has very little to do with the holidays and everything to do with Barack Obama, Socialism, Liberalism, Communism, etc. If you are not an ultra-ultra-far-left loon you will not like this show!
I almost had to get up and leave when one of the monalauges included a 5 minute tirade about US government failures, the Bush administration, and a very offensive remark about "Ground Zero" which I will not repeat here.
If you take the constant liberal smugness out of the show, it was quite funny, but be preparded to be inundated with constant Socialist propaganda.
I suppose if the show was actually about the holidays and not how wonderful it is to elect the first black President (there were 5 skits based just on this), I would give a rave revue.
