Sebastian Sidi is a Uruguay-born American musician and composer, specializing in piano and keyboards, whose sound can be described as classical, new age rock with Latin flavor
Sidi’s music features an energetic and passionate new sound that has broken the molds of traditional musical genres. Self-taught and unable to read a single note of music, Sidi learned to play the drums as a teen, beating out heavy metal tunes on a friend’s tattered drum kit. His musical career was launched when he began incorporating keyboards and composing songs for a number of small rock bands.
An accomplished musician, Sebastian performs on the keyboards and has played both the drums and bass guitar. He is often compared to artists like Yanni and John Tesh.
Sebastian has composed songs for a number of small rock bands, as well as rap and Latin outfits. He has released 5 CD’s of his distinctive sounds over the last 7 years that have sold an impressive 20,000 copies.
Sebastian has a loyal fan base and draws fans of all ages and races, from 10-year-old kids to 80-year-old seniors. Sebastian says, “I feed off their energy and they feed off mine. It's a partnership, and it wouldn't work otherwise.”
