The Seattle Choral Company returns to Town Hall for a program of works inspired by American pop culture. Making its Seattle debut is Philip Glass's song cycle, 'Songs from Liquid Days' (lyrics by Paul Simon, Suzanne Vega, David Byrne and Laurie Anderson), featuring tenor Victor Morris and jazz vocalist Greta Matassa. Other works on the program are Paul Crabtree's 'Five Romantic Miniatures' from 'The Simpsons,' Bobby McFerrin's 'Brief Eternity,' 'Presidential Suite' by Jack Gottlieb, and 'Afro-American Fragments' by William Averitt (lyrics by Langston Hughes). Fred Coleman conducts.
