Season Six American Idol Winner Jordin Sparks To Headline Free Holiday Tree Lighting Event At The Domain November 22, 2008

Central Texas holiday shoppers and families are invited to gather for a free performance from American Idol, Jordin Sparks during The Domain Lighting of Macy’s Great Tree presented by Cadillac.

The Domain will kick-off the holiday season with a grand tree lighting spectacular event highlighted by a special performance by Jordin Sparks, who is twice nominated for the 2008 MTV Video Music Award’s for Best New Artist and Best Female Video.

The Central Texas holiday tradition will offer one-of-a-kind holiday events including:

Special Live Performances:
o Jordin Sparks
o Dan Dyer
o Christian Life Church Choir

Holiday Traditions:
o A 40-foot Christmas tree with more than 6,000 lights, 400 ornaments and a five-foot star topper
o Weekly firework displays
o Strolling carolers
o Holiday entertainment from the stage in the park
o Complimentary Horse-drawn carriage rides
