At the SEO Advanced Skills Workshop, you will learn advanced SEO skills that will add to your Essentials skillset. The entire workshop is hands-on and personalized to you and your classmates. You'll see demonstrations of real situations, hands-on practice of your own problems, and daily self-evaluations of each participant so we are sure you're understanding everything. After you pass the final exam, you'll receive certification showing that you've completed all the modules and understand the concepts.

College level Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for this course, but you must request to be signed up in advance.

Day 1 – The Future of Search Engine Marketing
By the end of Day 1, you will have a grasp of many more techniques that you can apply in highly competitive markets, as you learn Advanced Keyword Forensics and how to tap into behavioral trends based on the last 90 days of search activity. You will understand how to tap into search engine trends that 90% of other Webmasters miss.

Day 2 – Advanced SEO Strategies
By the end of Day 2, you will have added to your arsenal of Advanced Skills, including how to use Google Analytics, how to deal with technical issues, and multivariate reporting of the most complex nature.

Day 3 – Strategies “Beyond SEO”
By the end of Day 3, the entire workshop comes together and you will understand both the theoretical and practical ways of optimizing a web page with the least possible amount of steps. You will then be prepared to compete in a highly competitive market, while eliminating all the guess work.

About Your Instructor:
Thomas W. Petty has been involved with technology since 1989. He had a 21-year career at a Fortune 100 company, most of which was spent in the Information Technology arena. His background spans computer and server support, networks, data centers, Web technology and software systems design and deployment.
He has taught many different types of coursework including Windows, programming, networks and other classes.

Thomas is only one of approximately 1900 HFI-Certified Usability Analysts® in the world, having been trained in Web usability by Human Factors International.

He has owned his own internet consulting business in Livermore, California since 2005, and works with many different industries to optimize and market their businesses on the Web.
