Come celebrate the New Jersey State Museum Planetarium’s newest show, Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure, on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Designed to educate and entertain the whole family, the day will be filled with displays, special appearances by Science Troubadour Leigh Russ, who will be performing educational songs for your listening pleasure in free performances during the day, free poster giveaways, real dinosaur specimens accompanied by the Museum’s paleontologists, and for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts: New Jersey State Museum scientists will present programs about Merit Badge and Interest Patch. Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure, our newest full dome planetarium show, will be shown at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, & 4pm. “The high definition image projected on our Planetarium dome is spectacular! “It’s like ‘Finding Nemo’ 1,000 times in excitement!” says Jay Schwartz, Planetarium Curator.
