SDSM&T Spring Concert April 25, 2009

The SDSM&T Symphonic Band and Concert Choir present their annual spring concert on Saturday evening in the Civic Center Theater. Music from military marches to Johannes Brahms to spirituals. Of special note is an appearance by the Grim Reaper (senior Mechanical Engineering major Garrett Schmitz) in a multi-media work by mid-20th century composer Hugo Distler entitled Totentanz (The Dance of Death) for mixed chorus and actors.
