SDForum Workshop: How to Sell to Venture Capitalists
Workshop Presented by: Jonathan Baer
Everyone knows that Sand Hill Road has the largest concentration of venture capitalists in the world. As many startup entrepreneurs know, getting a VC to invest can often mean the difference between success and failure. Many others also want to reach out to the venture community when seeking a new position within a venture backed company, for finding consulting opportunities with portfolio companies or for introductions to others. How do you do this? What VC should you contact and what approach works best. This seminar will give you some practical tips on how you find the right VC (not all VC's are the same), how to approach them and other ways to make your efforts more successful.
