Romantic notions of innovation include the lone inventor who toils away in their garage and, with luck, comes up with a "Big Idea" that they then somehow mold into a useful product. However, most innovation today comes from people who are continuously interacting with and gaining a deeper understanding of their customers, and then using this innovation to create more effective ways of solving their problems.

This half day event will focus on how you can develop the understanding that leads to innovative new products. With a learn, do, have approach the event will include a keynote address talking about trends and best practices, a hands-on workshop where you will actually be innovative, and a panel discussion focusing on how to move forward with your new ideas and opportunities once they are discovered. By the end of the day you will be inspired, empowered and equipped to begin your own innovation program.
