VC investments in Web 2.0 have exploded due to low capital costs, scalability, and some lucrative exits. Steve Bengston will presend an overview of the investments in the sector and trends, and then our veteran VC panel will discuss some of the issues facing Web 2.0 companies, including:

If Microsoft buys Yahoo, will that severely damage the M&A market for Web 2.0 companies?
Are there any areas that are not already over invested?
Is Web 3.0 marketing hype?
What is the next Facebook? Is social networking dead?
