Screning of cult UK hip hop film in Israel - Jerusalem 19:30 Sat 19th, Tel Aviv 20:00 Sun 20th, Haifa 14:30 Sat 26th January 19, 2008

'SOUTH COAST' is screening at cinemas in Jerusalem 19:30 on 19th Jan, Tel Aviv at 20:00 on the 20th and Haifa at 14:30 on
the 26th. All screenings at the cinemateque cinemas. This warm and humorous film presents a view of hip hop that is positive and a million miles from the bling and gangstas so
frequently portrayed.

'SOUTH COAST' is screening as part of the British Film Festival in
Israel and has been selected for screening at Cannes, New York,
Rotterdam, Helsinki, Raindance (London) and has been secured for
worldwide distribution by an L.A.-based distributor. The feature film
was also name-checked in the UK's Daily Telegraph's review of films of 2007.

Just as in Israel your hip hop artists have taken a US art-form and
stamped your own identity on it, so 'South Coast' documents how hip
hop has finally found a quintessentially English voice in the least
likely of locations - the seaside towns of southern England (It's not
East Coast, Its not West Coast...this is South Coast).
