Screening and Disscusion of the Award-Winning Film "The Way North" October 1, 2009

The public is invited to the West Texas premiere of the award winning documentary film “The Way North”
followed by a discussion with Director and Fulbright
Scholar Shara K. Lange and Producer Dan VanZant. This screening is part of El Paso Community College’s
(EPCC) Salute to the Arts program. Screenings and
discussions will be held Thursday, October 1st at 6:00 p.m. at EPCC Transmountain Campus Forum Theatre, 9750 Gateway Blvd. North. This film poignantly explores women’s issues,
immigration and a variety of cultural themes from the
perspective of North African women who have
immigrated to France. The documentary depicts how
these immigrants traverse new borders and forge new
paths for themselves and their families. For more
