SCREAM on the Green at Discovery Green
A FREE outdoor Halloween party for the whole family

Friday, October 31, 2008

Ghouls and Ghosts will be lurking around downtown on Halloween at Discovery Green. Dress up the family for a free, fun-filled spooky outdoor Halloween party. Throughout the evening guests will compete in adult, children, and even dog costume contests while enjoying Halloween treats and scary music. The entertainment includes an opportunity to sing along with your favorite Halloween tunes at Café Scary-oke presented by KPFT and dance under the stars until 11pm.
In addition to the contests, visitors to Discovery Green will have an opportunity to adopt a dog from B.A.R.C. and be entertained by Puppet Pizazz, Living Statues, Roller Skating Car Hop girls, fortune tellers and face painters. An array of vendors featuring Halloween and environmentally-friendly themes will also be prominent in this exciting event, produced by J & D Entertainment.
Also, Houstonians of all ages are invited to enter the Jack-O-Lantern contest with fabulous prizes to be awarded for “most artistic”, “funniest” and “scariest”.
