After calling it quits more than 24 years ago, noise rockers, Scratch Acid, have returned to the music scene. Formed in Austin, Texas in the early 80s, Scratch Acid put out two full-length albums through a local indie label, along with an EP through Touch and Go Records. Though members have kept busy through the years, contributing to acts such as Ministry, The Jesus Lizard, Lard, Rapeman, and many others, 2006 saw them briefly reunited for 3 shows, one of which was at The Hideout in Chicago for Touch and Go Records 25th Anniversary Block Party. Now, almost 30 years after Scratch Acid's inception, they've announced a handful of shows in the US.
