Wot God Forgot and Future Everything present...
Critically acclaimed female singer-songwritter, Scout Niblett has released records on Too Pure and Drag City, accruing a huge fanbase for her minimal drum, guitar and vocal sound. Typified by searing lyrics and intense shows, Scout has become a feminist icon since early releases, Sweet Heart Fever (2001) and I Am (2003) on Secretly Canadian. Akin to artists like PJ Harvey and Kim Gordon, she works relentlessly, challenging her ability and her audience. A must-see live.
Just added to this already fantastic line up is NME's biggest buzz band of SXSW, Suuns. Originating from Montreal the band will play Islington Mill following tours with Crystal Castles and Black Angels. Listen to Suuns here
The linup is completed by EMA, another of NME's top 10 to watch from SXSW whom Pitchfork describe as “one of the most heart- stoppingly great live bands on earth".
