What happens when you blend physicists, master distillers and mixologists - with a little dry ice? Science of Cocktails! On Thursday, January 26, from 7:30 to 11 pm, guests can find out the chemical difference between “shaken” or “stirred," what happens to the taste of a beverage at colder temperatures, and much more all while enjoying masterfully created libations by Bay Area celebrity bartenders. This gala night will feature brand sponsors including St. George Spirits, Distillery No. 209, VeeV. Attendees will be assured a buzz that is fun and brainy! Join the Exploratorium for its third annual fundraising event that transforms the museum into a laboratory of libations. Tickets are $120-$185, and benefit the museum’s programs.
