SCI-FI-LONDON 9 : Barbarella April 30, 2010

SCI-FI-LONDON is the UK’s leading genre event and an internationally recognised launch pad for genre movies. At each festival we have at least a dozen UK premieres.

The festival is now in its 9th year and will take place Wed 28th April – Mon 3rd May 2010 at The Apollo Piccadilly Circus Cinema, London’s most luxurious cinema.

This is a SFL Satellite Event. Join the folk who run the cult movie club, MIDNIGHT MOVIES, in Soho’s boudoir lounge for themed cocktails and Alexander’s Festival Hall & Piney Gir DJ tag team from 10pm, followed by a live performance from Suri Sumatra, and the ultimate cult sci-fi, Barbarella, on the big screen.

Barbarella (Jane Fonda) is a highly-sexed space agent kitted out with many stunning uniforms and a plush, psychedelic spaceship, who travels to another galaxy in search of evil scientist Durand-Durand.
