Called “the premier performing group of original and traditional songs” by the Lincoln Center in New York, this Maine duo is set to release a new album, Roots and Wings.

* Brothers Chuck and Steve Romanoff dedicated their 2005 album, And Both Shall Row, to longtime band member Tom Rowe, who passed away in 2004 after 29 years with the group.
* With a basis in traditional maritime tunes, the group’s repertoire expands to include folk and pop, and experiments further with songs recorded in Hebrew, French, German, and Spanish.
